Caprylic acid is a medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) fatty acid, which is a saturated fatty acid with a medium-chain length of 6 to 10 carbon atoms. Caprylic acid contains 8 carbon atoms (C8).

Like all fats, MCT is characterized by a simpler digestion and absorption process than other types of fats: it does not require the participation of bile and lipase, it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream, and therefore can be a source of quickly available energy.

Caprylic acid is especially recommended for people with high physical activity and following a ketogenic diet. Aliness caprylic acid is obtained from coconut oil, which is naturally rich in this ingredient.

Ingredients:  MCT oil from coconut (60% caprylic acid), capsule ingredients: gelatin, humectant – glycerol, water.
